Poppy
Our Poppy absolutely loves Lisa & her amazing team at Sheriff About Town. She’s been heading out for regular walks for many years now and loves catching up with her doggy mates. Lisa & her team are so professional and so caring. We’ve never had any issues, and we love getting photos of the gang out & about

Leo
Our dog Leo’s walks with the Sheriff team are the highlight of his week. He gets so excited when the van comes and we love seeing the (professional level!) photos of him having a great romp with his friends.
It’s a big relief for us having walkers we know we can trust with our fur-baby when life gets hectic and to see him tuckered out at the end of the day. Would highly recommend Lisa and the rest of her team.

Billy
Billy absolutely loves his daily walk with the Sheriff About Town. He waits excitedly by the door each day, anticipating their arrival, and greets his walkers with extreme enthusiasm. We receive a service report every day after his walk, complete with great photos, videos, and comments. The walkers are caring and patient with our lovable golden retriever. These walks have calmed Billy at home, and his behaviour has improved. The online booking service is easy and flexible, and the variety of services is helpful for different situations. We have been delighted with the service provided, and I know Billy would rate them 10 out of 10

Everything you need to know
Curious about how our walks work, what’s included, or how we keep dogs safe?
Check out our FAQs for all the details.
How much do we charge?
For a group walk, the cost is $42 per group, or $68 if it includes two dogs from the same household.
For our Doggy Day Care service, it is $68 for one dog, and for two dogs in the same household, it is $136.
All prices include GST.
Do we cater for all sizes of dogs?
Of course! We love all dogs, big and small. What we are mindful of are the dogs’ temperaments and how well they socialise with others.
How many dogs are in a group walk?
We walk 4 dogs per group walk. This is the legal size as per the NSW regulations.
Where do you take the dogs for their dog walk adventure?
Generally, we take our dog friends to an array of fenced dog parks in the local areas. We do this as we have dogs in our care who don’t have the best recall, so safety is paramount. This way, we can ensure everyone gets to run, socialise, and play in an area that is safe and well-supervised.
We also take groups to off-leash areas when we know the dogs in the groups have good recall. For us, their safety is our number one priority at all times.
Are we insured?
Absolutely! We have top insurance for professional dog walking services.
Will the same walker walk my dog every week?
We certainly aim for this to happen. We have a crew of 6 walkers who are all trained and fully insured by the business.
As you can imagine, some walkers work part-time, so there may be 2-3 walkers who get assigned to your dog. All our walkers are trained and absolutely love dogs, so they will quickly build a bond with your beloved dog.
Can I book regular weekly walks and ad hoc bookings?
Absolutely. You can have recurring bookings every week and request ad hoc bookings.
Do we walk dogs in all weather conditions?
Yes, we do. We definitely don’t mind if it rains! Usually, dogs love the wet weather. We would only cancel if it is torrential rain or if it is unsafe weather conditions.
In warmer months, it does get very hot. If it is too hot, we would only do walks in the morning, but we would assess this on a day-to-day basis. The dog’s safety is our top priority at all times.
Can I book a walk 24 hours in advance?
Yes, absolutely, via our online booking system or call directly.
Cancellation policy?
We require a 24-hour cancellation notice before the walk is scheduled, otherwise we do need to charge for the walk.
Are your dog walkers trained and qualified?
Yes! All of our walkers are personally trained by our founder and pack leader, Lisa, and have completed Pet First Aid certification. You can feel confident knowing your dog is in safe, capable hands on every walk.
